Welcome to My Personal Page!
Thank you for visiting our fundraising page. I'm participating in ALS San Diego's ALS Walk to raise funds that will support San Diego individuals and families affected by ALS. In 2021 our family was affected by this cruel disease when it tried to take Hector. Hector isn't only my dad, he is also my mentor, my boss, the Tata to my girls, and my favorite inappropriate joker. If you are visiting this page you likely have had the pleasure of working with, joking with, singing with or fishing with Hector.
ALS has slowed Hector down, but he still gets up every morning with a smile on his face. Our family is closer than ever as we navigate this disease and provide as much support to keep him happy. He has the privilege of going to work everyday, and enjoys visiting clients, vendors and telling us how to run the business!
ALS, commonly known as Lou Gehrig's disease, is a progressive, fatal neuromuscular disease that slowly robs the body of its ability to walk, speak, swallow, and breathe. The life expectancy of a person with ALS averages 2 to 5 years from the time of diagnosis.
