Welcome to My Personal Page!

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. I'm participating in ALS San Diego's ALS Walk to raise funds that will support San Diego individuals and families affected by ALS.
Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), commonly known as Lou Gehrig's disease, is a progressive, fatal neuromuscular disease that slowly robs the body of its ability to walk, speak, swallow, and breathe. The life expectancy of a person with ALS averages 2 to 5 years from the time of diagnosis. ALS can strike anyone regardless of age, gender, nationality, or ethnicity, although it is primarily an adult-onset disease. Currently there is no known cause or cure.
I'm participating in the San Diego walk in memory of my Dad, who died two years after his ALS diagnosis, and for my friend Chris Palmer, who is currently living with ALS.
My hope is that with fundraisers like this, ALS may someday no longer be a fatal disease.
Thank you for your support!
