MY BOBSEY MOM - BARBARA HANSEN
This photo was taken two months before my Bobsey Mom went to Heaven
My dearest friend, my Bobsey Mom, left this earth far too early after struggling for two years with ALS.
Her leaving has left such a hole in the hearts of those who cherish her. I am doing everything I can to help make sure no one else has to live with a hole in their heart because of ALS.
Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), is a progressive, fatal neuromuscular disease that slowly robs the body of its ability to walk, speak, swallow, and breathe. The life expectancy of a person with ALS averages 2 to 5 years. There is no known cure for ALS.
You will notice the very first donation listed is from my 11-year old granddaughter, Sutton. Last Christmas, her gift to me was $241.87 which she had raised in the previous two months in Barbara’s name, stating in her letter to me “even though I am little, I can make a big difference!”
Won’t you please help in the fight? Every small or large amount helps.
Thank you and God bless!
