Visiting Cabrillo with Craig
Visiting Cabrillo with Craig

Thank you for visiting my Craig?s Crusaders funraising page.  I am participating in the ALS San Diego's ALS Walk to raise funds that will support Craig and other families affected by ALS.

In 2021, Craig was living his life, working, hiking, biking, spending time with his family, when he noticed something wasn?t quite right.  After many tests, the diagnosis was Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), commonly known as Lou Gehrig's disease, a progressive, fatal neuromuscular disease that slowly robs the body of its ability to walk, speak, swallow, and breathe. The life expectancy of a person with ALS averages 2 to 5 years from the time of diagnosis. ALS can strike anyone regardless of age, gender, nationality, or ethnicity, although it is primarily an adult-onset disease. Currently there is no known cause or cure.

Your donation today will help fund resources and services to Craig and the ALS community, help find new treatments, and move us closer to a world without this disease.

Thank you for your support!
