Ed Witt Wolfpack ALS Walk Oct 13th
Todd and Ed Witt at Todd's home
Thanks for visiting my ALS San Diego Walk and the Witt Wolfpack page. This year is very special for the Witt Wolfpack As you may know Todd passed away June 23rd we love and miss him so much but we know he's now at rest after five years of fighting We also have a dear friend that lives in La Jolla at the age of 75 diagnosed with ALS too so this is very personal to the Witt's
Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), commonly known as Lou Gehrig's disease, is a progressive, fatal neuromuscular disease that slowly robs the body of its ability to walk, speak, swallow, and breathe. The life expectancy of a person with ALS averages 2 to 5 years from the time of diagnosis. ALS can strike anyone regardless of age, gender, nationality, or ethnicity, although it is primarily an adult-onset disease. Currently there is no known cause or cure.
Being a part of ALS San Diego's Walk is the number one way to unite and fundraise for those living with ALS. Please consider supporting my efforts by donating through my fundraising page. This year your donation goes directly to a San Diego based and incorporated team that is so much help to those affected by ALS. This is not the national association as in the past it's local and means SO MUCH TO US. Please mark your calendars for Sept 20th at Liberty Station. Oct 13th at 900 am for this very important walk to assist all San Diego pALS. Todd will be there in Spirit for sure and of course so will the Witt Wolfpack to greet you and celebrate Todd.
Your donation today will help fund resources and services to the local San Diego ALS community, help find new treatments, and move us closer to a world without this disease.
Please feel free to send this page to any friend or family member who might be interested in donating!
Thank you for your support!
