ALS is a progressive disease in which a person’s brain loses connection with the muscles, slowly taking away their ability to walk, talk, eat and eventually breathe. There is currently no cure for ALS but there is hope. I have witnessed the awful impact that this disease has had on my friend Craig Goida over the past couple of years. His strength, determination and positivity is inspiring. The love, commitment and patience of his partner Grant Lewis is remarkable and an example for us all.
